My ongoing learning as a graduate student over the past two years has provided the space where I can marry my pedagogical best practices with professional learning to develop a vision for the all-inclusive integration of technology to promote transformational change throughout teaching and learning for the staff and students I serve. Visionary Leadership is ISTE Standard 1:
Technology coaches inspire and participate in the development and implementation of a shared vision for the comprehensive integration of technology to promote excellence and support transformational change throughout the instructional environment.
In the early stages of the Digital Education Leadership graduate program, I developed a Mission Statement that morphed what I knew as a teacher, a learner, and a leader. Motivator, mentor, and collaborator were all important attributes I believed important for an innovative digital learning program. I am grateful to be an integral part of a school system which supports the vision that all students engage with purposeful innovative digital technology resources that contribute to the betterment of our global community.
